Graphic Designer
Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC (RCS) is an innovative small business providing IT and management consulting services to the U.S. Federal Government and commercial clients. We have unique strengths in complex, cross-organizational solution analysis, design, development, implementation, and change management supporting enterprise requirements. Our team of professionals has deep consulting backgrounds supporting the unique needs of our clients. Our team members have proven experience leading strategic initiatives within the civilian Government agencies.
RCS is seeking a Graphic Designer to create and release innovative technology products that drive analytic rigor and insight. Support the visualization and creation of flyers, posters, logos, templates, and complex visuals for marketing and branding materials to release these technology products to the analytic cadre to support their mission needs. Multi-media support in video production, animation, storyboarding, illustrations, web design, and installations to further its IT projects. Graphic design and multi-media support will enable our client to meet these critical requirements. Design support may also include the creation of business products, such as awards, invites, engravings, web design and posters, which promote the brand and reputation for creating revolutionary technology products. It will be an interdisciplinary team and be responsible for executing multiple design projects under minimal supervision.
This position requires the candidate to work onsite in McLean, VA. Relocation assistance is not available.
What you will do:
- Work closely with all marketing and branding efforts across the organization to design a wide-range of routine-to-complex projects such as charts and graphs, flow diagrams, infographics, presentation visuals, illustrations, publication design, cover designs, brochures, posters, logos, and exhibit design
- Will develop, design, produce, and deliver visual products for print, presentation, installation, and web or other digital display for the officers
- Assess client objectives and expectations, and advise client on project design, format, and dissemination
- Assess available resources and, if necessary, develop a production schedule.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person visualization and design concept meetings with customers
- Use professional industry standards of sound design, color, and typography
- Adhere to the standards for design, production, and product handling
- Develop and maintain their skills commensurate with industry-wide best practices
- Support event coordination
- Ensure its personnel stay up to date on the latest versions of Adobe applications as they become available in the environment
- Explore innovative uses of Adobe applications that might be of benefit, such as using Adobe Animate or Cinema 4D.
Required Qualifications/Education:
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Working in graphic design or in a similar field
- Color theory, typography, and visualization and design concepts
- Adobe Creative Cloud application such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After-Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat Pro
- Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Web design, web development, and/or web publishing
- Facilitating visualization or design concept meetings
- Computer animation and 3D modeling
- Branding and market identity
- Photography and audio, and visual editing and dubbing
- Robust creative and technical skills
- Customer service and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent arts major
