Sigma Defense is seeking someone with extensive experience in Navy and/or Defense training operations, policy, doctrine, systems, and staff procedures to support Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) as a Senior Program Analyst in Norfolk, VA.
The ideal candidate is a Functional Area Management are specific program supervisors. As middle-level to upper-level supervisors, they have the primary on-site responsibility for successful accomplishment of the training requirement (i.e. live/synthetic training event, training assessments). They are the Contractor equivalent of the Government’s Technical Assistants. Functional area leaders are responsible for ensuring contractor personnel have a clear understanding of the tasks, resources, capabilities, schedules, metrics, and desired end-state. While they do not necessarily have to be subject matter experts in all of the areas of their assigned tasks, they are expected to fill a supporting role, vice exclusively managing the Contractor work force. They are responsible for maintaining accurate records of resources required to complete tasks, and the daily status of their contractor workforce.
This is a contingent position that is pending award of contract. This means that the position is subject to the successful awarding of a contract and will be confirmed once the contract is finalized. The candidate selected for this role will be offered the position on the condition that the contract is awarded to our organization.

Requirements
Minimum of 6 years in the following:
- Technical lead and subject matter expert for respective task requirements (e.g. Academics, Warfare Area(s),
- Synthetic, Live, or Joint Training).
- Developing training scenarios, tactical/ operational planning, synthetic /live training exercises/ even execution, lessons learned and after-action reporting.
- Navy and/or Defense training operations, policy, doctrine, systems, and staff procedures.
- Adapting to a fast-paced, team-based environment and manage team performance.
- Handling multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables.
- Conducting fleet training analysis/assessment to identify gaps, training needs and solution.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study.
- 8 years of experience is required if no degree is held.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance.
- A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Contractor shall perform JETT war game director duties to include:
- Perform actions necessary to ensure personnel, equipment, and processes are managed per exercise design documents and specifications for exercise or training events.
- Coordinate with the other commands within FST (CSG4, TTGL, II Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) simulation center, MAGTF staff training program (MSTP), etc.) to ensure interoperability and supportability.

- Provide synthetic training program expertise and advice to commander, EWTGL.
- Provide support as JETT war-game director for locally sponsored exercises.
- Utilize JSAF, MTWS and other M&S systems in the training environment.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually.
