Systems Operations Specialist

Skill Level: Senior

Position Description: As a Systems Operations Specialist supporting the customer, you will be trusted to execute multi-faced programs that support dynamic mission sets. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Supporting engineering team functions
• Administering, maintaining, and imaging servers
• Supporting AWS/cloud migration and maintenance

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

• Minimum of 6 years related experience or relevant combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows Server 2012 and 2016
• Demonstrated experience with AWS/C2S cloud migration
• Demonstrated experience with administration, maintenance, and imaging of servers
• Experience planning, testing, installing, and integrating new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems or organizational enterprise computer systems, all third party software components, and subsystems
• Experience researching and resolving complex systems software problems efficiently and accurately while adhering to internal software and IT Security management standards and procedures
• Experience providing technical support to applications and utility developers on requirements for integration into the operating environment
• Familiarity with Oracle databases, IBM, Microsoft applications
• Familiarity with the assessment and authorization process
• Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Project management experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Familiarity with Sponsor’s mission needs and operations
