Full Job Description
As the PerformYard Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing key processes within our finance and accounting department. This includes financial reporting, legal, tax, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably in SaaS / technology and possess excellent managerial and leadership skills. You will work directly with the founders and leadership team to drive growth in the business.

Requirements
What you’ll do:
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts
- Provide key metric insights, scenario modeling and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and business planning
- Drive budgeting and forecasting support
- Lead cross-functional initiatives and project manage in conjunction with day-to-day activities
- Provide business partnering support to stakeholders within our product and operations practices
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
- Implement best practices and internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support sales team in legal and financial negotiations
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a combination of public accounting, audit or SaaS industry experience
- Experience overseeing legal, finance, operations, and strategy functions, preferably in a technology-focused organization
- An understanding of key SaaS metrics and pro forma modeling
- Presentation skills to support planning cycles and leadership meetings
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite
