ROGERCO, Inc. (ROGERCO) , Inc. delivers advanced technology, cybersecurity, communications advisory, and multi-media services and is looking for a Federal Program Strategy Expert to work closely with a communications team and clients to develop Science and Technology (S&T) program strategies that advocate and defend S&T programs. Candidates should also have an active secret security clearance and previous experience with communications in federal government organizations, specifically DoD. Applicants should live in the greater Washington, DC area with the ability to work on client site in Arlington, VA, as requested by the customer.
Requirements
- Support the development and implementation of the S&T strategy and integration of S&T input by contributing to and reviewing technical content and progress of projects, analyzing budgetary data, support data collection, preparing briefings, and organizing portfolio related materials.
- Conduct targeted research, analysis, and studies in support of strategic planning from the Technology Portfolios, including crosscutting technologies, OSD priority areas, and modernization priorities.
- Collaborate and support strategy development across the research and development laboratories and centers within the client Enterprise, DoD, other agencies, academia and industry to effectively communicate S&T strategy.
- Provide support in ensuring that S&T Strategic Planning documents and products are linked to the National Defense Strategy, Operating Concept, Multi-Domain Operations, and the Modernization Strategy, as well as other hierarchical DoD guidance documents.
- Provide support in establishing and conducting routine threat analysis programs, and analyze S&T challenges, opportunities, and gaps for system acquisition programs.
- Advise on the impact of current and future engineering efforts, environmental changes, including reduced resources and changing missions and ensures that all organizational programs, plans, and policies are systematically integrated into an overall strategic foresight plan of operation in support of missions.
- Prepare operational reports (Monthly Status Reports).
- Maintain a database of important contact information.
- Take meeting notes at meetings and track meeting follow-ups as applicable.
- Draft outgoing communication on behalf of stakeholders.
- Work in conjunction with the Partner / Directors, and with other programs / corporate offices; as required.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of federal experience providing technology analysis and strategy. Experience managing communications for the federal government preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree related to business, communications, or engineering. Master’s degree preferred.
- Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Active SECRET clearance.
