Ampsight is seeking an experienced and dynamic Federal Cloud Solutions Consultant to join our team, out of our Sterling, Va office. In this role, you will serve as the primary interface between our federal clients, delivery, and internal cloud architecture teams, ensuring that the solutions we propose are tailored to meet client needs and align with our technical capabilities. Your role will involve understanding client business challenges, recommending high-level cloud strategies, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients, delivery and sales teams to understand client requirements, goals, and technical challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by presenting cloud-based solutions and strategies that align with their objectives.
  • Collaborate with the internal cloud architect to translate client needs into detailed technical requirements.
  • Support the sales team in pre-sales activities, including proposal development, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and internal technical teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Provide input on solution design, ensuring alignment with client expectations and feasibility from a technical and resource perspective.
  • Stay updated on cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices to provide innovative and forward-thinking solutions.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and uncover additional business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a federal client-facing solutions architect, pre-sales, or similar role in a cloud services environment.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their application to solve business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts both verbal and wrtien to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and expectations effectively.
  • Experience working closely with internal technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Familiarity with cloud migration strategies and multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience in pre-sales engineering or consulting roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or higher
  • Experience working on government contracts is a plus
  • Willing to work in office as needed
  • Top Secret Clearance (SCI Eligible)
