As our Facilities Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our healthcare facility operates at peak performance. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and being a part of the team.
• Oversee all aspects of facility operations, maintenance, and improvement projects
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within budget
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Lead and mentor a team of facilities team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
• Coordinate with various departments to minimize disruptions during maintenance and renovation activities
• Develop and manage facility budgets with meticulous attention to detail
• Implement and monitor energy-efficient practices to optimize facility operations
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and issues
• Maintain accurate records of all facility operations, maintenance, and projects
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve facility management
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong technical skills related to building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
• Proven project management experience with a track record of successful project completions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in facilities management software
• Knowledge of healthcare facility regulations and safety standards
• Valid driver's license and ability to be on-call for emergencies
• Meticulous approach to facility management and project planning
• Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
• Excellent team leadership and collaboration abilities
• Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to continuous improvement in facility operations and sustainability
