As an Electronic Records Management Specialist at Stafford Gray, you will play a pivotal role in the organization and maintenance of electronic records, ensuring that all critical information is accurately captured, stored, and easily retrievable. You will be responsible for developing and implementing records management policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of electronic records, including creation, classification, storage, retrieval, and disposition.
- Develop and maintain filing systems and records management procedures to enhance access and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of electronic records to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal standards.
- Provide training and support to staff on effective records management practices and the use of records management systems.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the security and integrity of electronic records.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in records management to continuously improve processes.
- Assist with the migration of paper records to electronic formats, ensuring that all electronic documents meet quality standards.
- Respond to inquiries regarding records management policies and procedures, ensuring timely and accurate service.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Library Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in records management, preferably in an electronic environment.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to records management.
• Proficient with records management software and electronic document management systems.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for training and support.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
• Capability to adapt to new technologies and manage change effectively.
