Full Job Description

Picture This: You step into a leadership role where execution is key, and your passion for bringing structure and focus turns strategy into sales results. Backed by strong inbound brand recognition and a clear vision from leadership, the company is ready for action—and you’re the one to align efforts, create systems, and amplify our vision to a larger audience.

If you’re a leader who thrives on rolling up your sleeves, driving execution, and transforming potential into performance, we’re ready for you to join Keeping Current Matters!

About Us:

We believe every family should feel confident when buying and selling a home.

We do this by transforming the way consumers are educated in the housing industry - providing real estate professionals with market insights to stay current on what’s happening, and marketing tools to share them in a simple way that is easy to understand. Since 2007, KCM has helped hundreds of thousands of agents to educate and serve buyers and sellers like never before.

What You'll Do:

Business Development and Growth:

  • Partner with the President to identify and prioritize new business opportunities, focusing on top real estate associations, CRM integrations, the mortgage industry, and enterprise partnerships.
  • Establish and drive clear, measurable goals aligned with organizational priorities. Regularly evaluate progress toward goals, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Lead executive-level conversations with prospects and clients to establish relationships and uncover new opportunities.
  • Build and implement strategies to expand into new markets. Leverage data and insight to assess strategic opportunities and develop business cases for resource allocation.
  • Drive new business growth by independently identifying opportunities, presenting tailored proposals, and closing deals that align with KCM's goals to meet client needs and reach sales targets.

Account Management and Client Success:

  • Proactively expand and deepen relationships with existing clients and key partners in the real estate and mortgage industries, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key clients in partnership with the Sales team, ensuring alignment on goals and mutual success.
  • Manage key accounts to ensure client satisfaction, long-term growth, and retention, while actively pursuing upsell opportunities.

Operational Integration and Team Building:

  • Serve as the “Integrator” to the President’s “Visionary” role, aligning business development activities with the broader KCM organization.
  • Work with the Sales team to create and operationalize workflows for sales and account management.
  • Develop and document scalable sales processes, building a repeatable "playbook" to drive consistency and scalability across enterprise sales.
  • Act as a bridge between sales efforts and internal teams, ensuring all initiatives are aligned and operationalized effectively.

Leadership and Future Growth:

  • Provide mentorship and strong leadership to the Sales team, ensuring their growth and alignment with departmental goals.
  • Prepare the team for future scaling, contributing to the establishment of a high-performing partnerships division.
  • Act as a trusted external representative of KCM, embodying the company’s values and delivering exceptional client experiences while serving as a key ambassador.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: 7+ years in business development or enterprise sales, preferably within SaaS or B2B environments with a proven track record of driving revenue and growth
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and take ownership of results without extensive layers of management.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with extensive experience engaging C-suite executives.
