Diesel Mechanic/Technician - Vehicles and/or Construction Equiptment

Colonial Beach Auto, a reputable Full-Service Collision Center, Auto Body Repair, Paint Shop, and Computerized Auto Repair company, is currently seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team. We are looking for individuals experienced in working with diesel vehicles and/or construction equipment. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles and/or construction equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Utilize computerized diagnostic tools and equipment for accurate assessments
• Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a vocational training program or apprenticeship in diesel mechanics or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician
• Strong mechanical and technical skills
• Experience working with diesel engines and/or construction equipment
• Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
