Phillips Federal, a division of Phillips Corporation, is looking for our next best in class assistant project manager for our team at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
In this position you will assist with the contract execution and management of our team of world-class professionals who keep the machine tools and production equipment at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard running for the US Navy. Requirements
Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders on the status of projects, daily activities and special requests.
Strong organizational skills, including electronic files such as service requests, service reports and job summaries.
Comfortable and experienced in industrial quality and safety audits.
Five years of project and personnel management, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Experience in a communication-focused, customer-facing role while dealing with outside vendors and suppliers.
Experience with OSHA safety training (OSHSA 30 or 501) and ISO9001 are highly preferred.
Government contacting experience, including knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) is highly preferred along with a working knowledge of financial statements.
Due to customer requirements, we are only able to consider US Citizens or permanent legal residents for this role who live or are willing to relocate to the Norfolk, VA area.

Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $110,000.00 and $130,000.00 annually plus bonus opportunities.
