Dental Assistant

Commonwealth Dentistry is seeking a passionate and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care in a comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during various dental procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment while adhering to infection control protocols.
• Manage patient documentation and medical histories.
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their dental visits.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
• X-Ray certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
