Full Job Description

CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking Defense Travel Administrator to support the Office of Military Commissions.

Specific Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and updating user profiles in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Creating, reviewing, and amending travel authorizations.
  • Preparing travel voucher form 1351-2 for traveler’s signature.
  • Preparing cross organization letter to allow travelers to use OMC line of accounting while attached to their parent command.
  • Detach and receive DTS profiles for outgoing and incoming command members.
  • Ensure the timely submission and execution of travel documents for each traveler post official travel.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal Travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations.
  • Working knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • 2-4 professional government working experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to use or learn SharePoint.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. CeLeen will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1 year travel administrator experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Located within 30 miles of McLean, VA.
