Database Developer
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in McLean, VA and is seeking a Database Developer. This is a full-time position based in Mclean, VA. This is a hybrid role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Development of proof of concept demos using a variety of database products including Oracle, Snowflake, or MongoDB.
- Responsible for designing, implementing and administrating databases
- Works closely with other technical teams to understand database needs and provide effective solutions
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience with database tools including Oracle, MongoDB or Snowflake
- Database design and implementation experience
- Database monitoring and administration experience
- Use of Scripting languages like GoLang, Perl, or Python
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or similar, is required
