Full Job Description
The Crisis Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the crisis team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health and substance abuse dysfunctions. The supervisor will provide clinical supervision and support to crisis specialists, ensuring adherence to program guidelines and protocols. They will also collaborate with community partners and referral sources to ensure coordinated care for clients. In addition, the Crisis Supervisor will be responsible for managing crisis hotline calls, conducting crisis assessments, and developing crisis intervention plans.
This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. The supervisor will be responsible for managing a team, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations, and identifying areas for training and professional development. The Crisis Supervisor will also participate in program planning and development to ensure the continuous improvement of crisis services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Licensure or certification as a Mental Health Professional
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in crisis intervention or related field
- Experience providing clinical supervision
- Excellent crisis assessment and intervention skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of community resources and referral processes
- Ability to collaborate effectively with community partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
