Code/ Configuration Manager
Years of Experience: 5 years
Education Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required.
Program Description: Create an end-to-end management perspective to ensure proper compliance and oversight of GI Bill programs, and the use of data and business intelligence to monitor and measure school and student outcomes.
Responsibilities:
The Configuration Manager will:
· Develop and maintain the CM Plan, policies, and procedures (including best practices across teams).
· Execute CM throughout the project lifecycle (development, migration, deployment, and security).
· Create and manage CM repositories with the DevSecOps team.
· Establish and promote product releases (baselines) following existing build and deploy processes.
· Manage transitions from development team to operations.
· Work with Development Leads to track code changes and version control.
· Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) across lower and production environments.
· Facilitate daily CM audits.
Requirements
Required Skills:
· Managing configuration changes in Git.
· NPM, Maven and other similar package managers.
· Branching/versioning strategies (Java, JavaScript, etc.)
· 3-5 year’s hands-on experience with version and configuration management tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Maven, AWS, Dynatrace, Docker, Kubernetes.
· Supporting applications in a cloud environment / microservice arch/infrastructure in complex projects.
