Job description:
We are looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst who is passionate about working with business and product teams to play a key role in analyzing, understanding and documenting business needs and processes. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to review business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technical risks. Your goal will be to identify opportunities to improve efficiency that deliver on the company’s vision and strategy. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Prepare clear requirements, specifications, and recommendations facilitating improved business processes through collaboration, research, and analysis.
- Work with customers/stakeholders to examine and document current business processes and identify opportunities to better utilize existing technology and human resources.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Develop and maintain business process documentation, including process flows, use cases, and functional specifications
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions and facilitate workshops to elicit business requirements
- Perform data analysis, data validation, and data mapping to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Partner with business and product teams to document and identify impact, risk, and benefits of alternative solutions.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Proficiency in process mapping and modeling techniques
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks
- Self-starter with a track record of working independently and collaboratively
