Business Analyst

Alankok, a joint venture between Red Cedar Solutions and RSDC-an Information Technology company, is seeking a business analyst to join their team for the purpose of coordinating a project on a contract with the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing effective solutions to help our clients achieve their business goals. You will work closely with stakeholders from different departments to gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and develop functional specifications. Additionally, you will collaborate with our development team to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of the solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and systems
• Identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Perform gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge the gaps
• Create functional specifications and collaborate with the development team for solution implementation
• Participate in testing and quality assurance activities
• Provide training and support to end users
• Maintain documentation of processes, systems, and changes

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Extensive knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in documentation and visualization tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Visio)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP) are a plus
