Banquet Server / Server Assistant

DBS is searching for a Banquet Server / Server Assistant to assist in catering events by setting up tables, serving meals, and ensuring a clean and tidy environment. DBS is a family-owned staffing company that specializes in finding quality employment candidates and matching them to clients in search of good help. The Banquet Server / Server Assistant position is a perfect role for someone who is looking to start a career in the hospitality industry. As a Banquet Server / Server Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team and will ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Pick you own shifts and schedule. There is no minimum of hours needed to work. So, if you can work only 1 or 2 shifts a week due to another job or family obligations, that is totally fine! This position is perfect for a part-time or full-time person.

Responsibilities

• Setting up banquet tables and preparing table settings
• Serving plated meals and assisting with buffet service
• Keeping the service area clean and tidy
• Clearing plates and tables throughout the event
• Refilling water and beverages as needed
• Coordinating with other staff to ensure a seamless service
• Handling customer service issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Previous experience in food service preferred, but not required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Benefits

Pay rate is $15.00 an hour.
