Full Job Description
Award Fee Metrics Consultant works within a highly matrixed team, reporting at both executive and client-facing levels. The PMO drives operational excellence through the implementation of industry best practices, standards of execution and customer-aligned delivery cadence. The PMO encompasses the program’s business operations functions and ensures these functions are aligned with the organization’s overall strategic goals. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of project management strategies, good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Members of this team are expected to collaborate cross-functionally across various functional groups to drive towards desired results. The ideal candidate for this role will support a clearly defined Award Fee methodology that is reinforced by measurable internal and external metrics.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the definition and development of standards in accordance with contractual requirements to include Quality Assurance, Service Level Agreements, CDRL Management, Risk Mitigation, and Customer Satisfaction.
- Support the development and tracking of quantifiable outcome-based statements to gauge operating conditional against established goals or objectives.
- Play significant role in executing internal performance management audits and establish continuous diagnostics and improvement.
- Develop and deliver program-wide and functional area training to raise awareness about and reinforce performance management strategy for each Award Fee period.
- Develop templates for Award Fee exclusions and self-assessment documents and facilitate color reviews.
- Support Award Fee documentation timely delivery May provide work leadership, training across departments for other team members.
- Contribute to delivery assurance objectives by providing clarifying information and analytics to further define evaluation criteria.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- 10 + years of Delivery Assurance/Continual Service Improvement experience ensuring client and end user experience meets contract requirements.
- 5+ years additional engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
- Expertise in reviewing award fee-based criteria and developing strategies for creating measurable metrics based on the award feed evaluation criteria.
- Proven experience creating measurable metrics, determining the appropriate objective measurement goal, and introducing efficiencies in measuring for these goals.
- Experience with creating executive-level documentation, reports, whitepapers, and briefings.
- Strong interpersonal, consensus-building, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a bias for action and autonomy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- PMP, CISSP or similar certification preferred.
