Automotive Technician - Virginia State Inspector certification is a plus

As an Automotive Technician at Colonial Beach Auto, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles and perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. Virginia State Inspector certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of automobiles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Repair and replace faulty vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Conduct Virginia State Inspections (certification is a plus)
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver exceptional customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
• Virginia State Inspector certification is a plus, but not required
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication and customer service skills
