Associate Principal, Engineering

As a Associate Principal, Engineer at DocMe360, you will be a key member of the engineering leadership team. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers, as well as being a technical lead for engineers working on a program within the Department of Veterans Affairs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management and design to develop and deliver high-quality software solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for building innovative products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and project plans
• Drive innovation and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Identify and address technical challenges and risks
• Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap
• Support DocMe360's internal engineering community of practice

Requirements

• Experience working within the Department of Veteran Affairs strongly recommended
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience managing a team of engineers
• Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong leadership and management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
