We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals with float and flat furnaces experience to join our team as an Asset Manager in a global remote working environment. You will build strong relationships with our customers, focusing particularly on float furnaces, and ensure the successful execution of the Digital Furnace Management (DFM) program. Your expertise with float and flat furnaces will be necessary in guiding customers to interpret data findings and provide insights to optimize their furnace operations. This position is ideal for those who are skilled in overseeing the operational efficiency and safety of flat or float furnaces and are skilled at driving meaningful improvements in furnace management.

Key Responsibilities
- Taking ownership of defined KPIs and collaborating closely with corporate and plant teams to ensure successful monitoring and maintenance of furnaces.
- Analyzing production data and refractory thickness sensor data to interpret trends and patterns, providing insights for effective furnace maintenance and operational action plans.
- Conducting monthly and quarterly meetings to review processes, audit, and sensor data, and providing actionable recommendations aligned with production and CAPEX objectives for each furnace.
- Collaborating with plant personnel to utilize the XSight platform on a tablet for daily furnace inspections and monitoring.
- Optimizing asset visibility across the organization.
- Developing and delivering training programs on PaneraTech’s technology for digital asset management.
- Providing technical support to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.
- Maintaining accurate records of training sessions, customer interactions, and technical support provided.
- Preparing reports on customer feedback, system performance, and recommendations.
- Staying updated on advancements and features of PaneraTech technology and enhancing knowledge and skills to support customers and contribute to technology development.
- Managing the audit and monitoring of multiple glass furnaces across different plants.
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for seamless execution.
- Adhering to PaneraTech's safety policies, promoting safety leadership, enforcing safety rules, and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Preparing audit reports and recommendations and following the DFM workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience in furnace asset management, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in float and/or flat furnace operations within the manufacturing sector.
- Minimum of 15 years of direct experience in managing and operating float and/or flat furnaces, essential for this role.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in conducting refractory audits and assessments.
- Capability to evaluate refractory conditions, identify potential issues, and recommend necessary maintenance or replacement strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for effectively training customers and presenting audit findings.
- Ability to work in high-temperature conditions and meet the sensory and physical demands of the job.
- Flexibility to adapt to various industrial environments, with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of conducting thorough audits and preparing comprehensive reports.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
- Well-versed in safety regulations with a steadfast commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe working environment.
Travel
This is a remote position that will require 50% travel to our customers worldwide.
