Ansible Developer

We are currently seeking an experienced Ansible Developer to join our team. As an Ansible Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks to automate various IT infrastructure tasks. You will work closely with the IT operations team to design, implement, and troubleshoot Ansible automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ansible playbook development, as well as experience with Unix systems and Windows VMware environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate IT infrastructure tasks
• Collaborate with the IT operations team to gather requirements and define automation workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ansible automation
• Develop and maintain documentation related to Ansible automation processes
• Monitor and optimize Ansible automation workflows
• Assist with training and mentoring team members on Ansible playbook development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Ansible automation

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Ansible Developer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Ansible playbook development and automation workflows
• Proficiency in Unix systems administration
• Experience with Windows VMware environments
• Familiarity with other automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack or Ansible
• Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python or Bash
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Certifications in Ansible or related technologies are a plus
