Summary:
IPConfigure is offering a challenging and rewarding Accounting Internship opportunity for students who are eager to gain real-world experience in the field of finance and accounting. As an Accounting Intern, you will work closely with the finance team and assist with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and other related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred.
- Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct) is a plus.
