Seasoned Recruitment is looking for a skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing consultation to patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring adherence to medication safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, including reviewing and interpreting prescriptions, ensuring proper dosage and labeling, and verifying medication compatibility.
- Provide consultation to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication use, drug interactions, and possible side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize drug therapy and contribute to patient care plans.
- Perform medication therapy management and make recommendations for medication adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain proper storage of medications and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Conduct medication inventory management, monitor stock levels, and place orders as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
- Document all pharmaceutical care activities and maintain accurate patient records.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and pharmacotherapy.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Pharmacy licensure in the state of practice.
- Prior experience as a licensed pharmacist is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and computer systems.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
