Packaging Line Operator

The packaging line operator is responsible for all aspects of quality, cleaning, sanitizing of the packaging lines as well as storage and handling of packaging materials and finished beer. This position works closely with the Packaging Team and reports to the Packaging Manager.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a passion for the brewing industry with some experience in the food and beverage industries
• Has experience with cleaning and sanitation procedures in a food or beverage environment
• Is organized, detail oriented and able to perform repetitive manual tasks for long period of time
• Is driven to maintain the packaging lines to the highest sanitation and safety standards
• Has good communication skills, is honest and hard working
• Can follow through with tasks to completion
• Displays good time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily packaging schedule is completed consistently, on time, to correct volumes with a quality mindset
• Ensure all beers packaged are within the set quality control parameters and help resolve any issues
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment while focused on an efficient workflow
• Contribute to and drive continuous innovation and process improvement
• Inform the Packaging Manager of issues and the resolutions
• Communicate critical information to appropriate departments
• Adhere to all company policies as detailed in the employee handbook and other company documents such as-attendance, safety, IT protocols, etc. 
• Assist other departments or perform other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Ability to work varied shifts as needed. Normal working hours are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 55 lbs. and walk up and down stairs
• Thrive working independently and have a positive personality
