The Role
Under the direction of the COO, the marketing specialist will lead content creation and the execution of marketing efforts directed at building the brand among customers and supporting the sales team.
Responsibilities
Partnerships & Tools
- Identify and oversee relationships with outsourced partners including content development and SEO.
- Monitor performance of tools used by Sales and Marketing teams including marketing automation, Salesforce, video and sales training tools, and LinkedIn.
Oversight of Marketing Programs
Lead in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including upsell initiatives to existing clients' website development, content strategy, account-based campaigns targeted at qualified leads, email, SEO, customer events.
- Allocate the Department workload, overseeing the functions performed by the Marketing Coordinator.
- Participate in annual strategic planning and budgeting efforts.
- Ensure the measurement of marketing initiatives with a focus on ROI and KPIs.
Content Creation
Lead content creation with the goals of building the brand, enhancing customer relationships and lead generation. Oversee the publication of content for the website, Email campaigns and other channels. Utilize Canva and Adobe Suite for content design.
Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.
- 2-5 years’ experience working in a Business-to-Business (B2B) Marketing environment with a diverse skillset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other computer related devices on an on-going daily basis.
- Self-motivated, well-organized, results-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns targeting B2B customers.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools.
- Understanding of marketing analytics and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce, and ability to analyze data for insights.
- Experience with content creation and management for digital marketing channels.
- Project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
