Of Utmost Importance - What You'll Do
- Assumes a position on the leadership team, advising teammates on all financial matters and sitting in the Finance Managers seat.
- Provide key fiscal management and planning information.
- Oversee the issuance of accurate financial reporting to Leadership, outside parties, and management team that include but not limited to, sales comparisons, departmental cost and margin analysis, and income statements.
- Analyze department performance and work with Operations to improve performance.
- Prepares budget templates and assists in annual budget process and sales, COG, expense, and cap ex forecasting.
- Ensure that all monthly/quarterly/yearly taxes are filed and paid.
- Interfaces with outside accountants on tax and financial reporting needs.
- Oversees the payroll function and reporting.
- Responsible for oversight of insurance needs and requirements.
- Manage the treasury functions of the Market, including but not limited to cash management and transfers between accounts and investment vehicle and reconciliation of all bank accounts.
- Supervise and provide direction and support to Bookkeeper and IT.

What You'll Need To Succeed
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience and bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field required.
- Strong management skills – being able to gracefully and cheerfully take multiple projects from development and idea stage, through multiple draft stages, then landing in “final draft” completion/communication phase.
- Strong “Servant Leadership” skills. This position will be a support Admin position in which you will often be supporting the needs of managers and owners.
- Experience in developing projections and budget models.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong math and financial skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate clearly.
- Great active-listening skills.
- Excellent provider of “numbers service” to the staff and possess a genuine love of financial mentoring to the staff and managers.
