Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team at Celtic Bank. The Systems Administrator will primarily focus on managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Active Directory, Intune, and identity management systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing, and maintaining robust IT systems, ensuring compliance with IT standards, and enhancing our overall IT capabilities. 

What You’ll Do at Celtic Bank: 

  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft Intune environment for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM), ensuring device security and compliance.
  • Administer and manage Active Directory environments, ensuring efficient and secure operations. 
  • Maintain the uptime and stability of Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.
  • Manage identity management systems, such as Okta or other similar platforms. 
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex IT issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. 
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications. 
  • Responsible for scripting, utilizing APIs, and writing automations to streamline existing processes and develop new ones. 
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels in accordance with company policies and security standards. 
  • Conduct regular IT system checks to proactively identify and resolve potential technical issues. 
  • Collaborate with IT and risk management teams to develop and implement effective IT strategies and solutions. 
  • Stay informed about the latest IT trends, threats, and technologies. 
  • Coordinate with external partners and vendors to enhance our IT capabilities. 
  • Participate in IT projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring alignment with overall IT objectives. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or four years of equivalent experience. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration. 
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions, such as Microsoft Intune, is a plus. 
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory administration. 
  • Proficiency with identity management systems like Okta or other similar platforms. 
  • Understanding of privilege access management (PAM) concepts and experience in implementing PAM solutions. 
  • Proficiency in common scripting tools such as Powershell, bash, python. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. 
  • Strong communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Physical and Other Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Stationary Work: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to type, handle documents, and perform other office related duties. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Mobility: The employee in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Communicate: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and will frequently communicate with others. Must be able to read, write and understand fluent English.
  • Work Model: The employee in this position will work either a fully Onsite or Hybrid work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.
    • Utah-based employees: Hybrid work schedule available after initial training period in our Salt Lake City, Utah office – department and job requirements will determine eligibility.
