Full Job Description
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team in a matrix framework
- Demonstrate experience in functional and/or program leadership including technical or IPT leadership
- Influence, instruct, guide, and mentor a team of engineers
- Lead technical reviews and meetings, internal and external
- Work through Program Managers and IPT leaders to achieve optimum program/functional cost/technical/schedule execution
- Support team growth through opportunity identification and Business Development support as required
- Supporting business development or bid efforts including technical responses, generation of costs/technical BOEs
- Ensure a diverse and inclusive culture of respect and trust
- Identify and execute required steps to bring projects to successful closure
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training (both required and desired):
- Bachelors Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area
- Strong knowledge of and direct experience in systems design/development
- Strong familiarity with the systems engineering life cycle and the DoD design review process
- Experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques
- Familiarity with a range of systems engineering tools - Cameo experience preferred
- Strong understanding of a variety of simulation techniques in support of systems analysis (e.g., discrete event simulation)
- Background in developing and/or testing aircraft and/or military components preferred
- Strong attention to detail
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
