Vasion is looking for a Senior Manager of Web Strategy to lead and execute a comprehensive strategy to build the digital presence of Vasion to drive high converting traffic through our website properties, optimizing for experiences, and supporting our global go-to-market efforts. As a member of the broader marketing leadership team, this role is responsible for overseeing the program and strategy of our websites including supporting performance, lead generation, customer journeys, brand storytelling, global sites, with a focus on optimization, program management, strategic planning, and leading a talented team.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Strategy & Management:
- Develop and implement a holistic global website strategy that aligns with the company’s broader business objectives.
- Oversee website architecture, design, and functionality improvements to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices and regions, including North America/English, and global site support for localized mini sites.
- Lead the optimization of conversion rates, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, lead generation, and customer acquisition are met or exceeded, and regularly report on the KPI progress.
- Ensure websites reflect the company’s brand messaging, product offerings, and customer journey goals
- Lead global initiatives to bring website properties together, establishing governance, standards, and benchmarks for a world-wide organization.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with demand generation, integrated campaigns, content marketing, SEO, product marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure websites are fully integrated with all marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate with design, UX/UI teams to continuously improve website design and user flows.
- Partner with analytics, sales, and customer success teams to ensure the website serves as a primary tool for lead nurturing and customer engagement.
SEO:
- Lead all SEO efforts to ensure global sites are optimized for organic search, improving ranking and driving traffic growth.
- Work with content organization and cross-functional partners on the creation and execution of landing pages, blogs, and other web content to support growth metrics, marketing campaigns and product launches.
- Advise on content strategies that deliver engaging, optimized content tailored to target audiences.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Monitor website performance, using tools like Google Analytics, heat maps, and user feedback to drive continuous improvements.
- Implement A/B testing, multivariate testing, and personalization strategies to optimize conversion rates and improve user experience.
- Use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions about website improvements and marketing initiatives.
- Set initiatives, KPIs, and milestones, produce regular reports on the progress of those initiatives
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of web marketers and developers, partnering closely with website designers
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.
- Manage external partners and vendors as needed for website development, optimization, design, and maintenance.
Budget & Vendor Management:
- Oversee the website marketing budget, ensuring all expenditures are aligned with strategic objectives and deliver a positive ROI.
- Manage relationships with third-party agencies and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of website-related services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on website strategy, user experience, and performance optimization. 5+ management experience.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and mentoring teams, and driving initiatives on cross-functional teams.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, content management systems (CMS), and marketing automation tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical web projects and cross-functional initiatives, including managing localized sites
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven marketing, performance analysis, and reporting.
- Expertise in website optimization, A/B testing, personalization, and UX/UI best practices.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Experience in SaaS or software industry.
- Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
