Full-time | Pay DOE | M-F 9 am-5 pm, + afterhours/weekends for crisis situations | Benefits

Oasis Ascent is a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers located in Millcreek, Utah. The families we serve are in crisis and need support keeping their child safe right now. At Oasis Ascent, we provide thorough assessment, around-the-clock secure care, and intensive support to young women. We provide a safe setting for adolescents to stabilize where they and their families meet with licensed clinicians to determine the underlying causes of distress and what next steps make the most sense for their needs

As our Residential Director, you will set the vision for, oversee, and manage the Residential Department across our beautiful campus. This includes programmatic structure, therapeutic modalities, direct care staff, and staff/student culture. As part of our leadership team, you will work closely and collaboratively with other department Directors. Together, you will set goals around and ensure we are continually meeting our program vision and providing the best care and experience possible to our students and their families.

Essential functions include:

  • Supervise Program Coordinators, Shift Supervisors, and Youth Mentors
  • Create strategic goals that are in alignment with program vision
  • Collaborate and communicate with other department Directors
  • Continually assess staff/student culture to ensure a safe, healthy environment
  • Oversee hiring, training, and certifications of residential staff
  • Communicate all training needs, dates and locations
  • Participate in weekly Program Coordinator and Shift Supervisor meetings
  • Conduct monthly Youth Mentor meetings
  • Update and maintain all residential employee files
  • Implement disciplinary measures with residential staff as needed
  • Oversee, approve, and submit all hours worked by residential personnel
  • Assist with Office of Licensing investigations and inquiriess
  • Daily incident review with Clinical Director

Requirements

Please note: your resume should include education, work experience, certifications, and licenses

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher (Preferred)
  • 5+ years management experience in a residential program
  • Able to pass criminal investigation background check
  • Able to pass motor vehicle record check
  • Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
  • Must provide contact information for 3 professional references
  • Maintain professional and job appropriate attire and attitude
