Project Superintendent

Vector Construction is looking for a driven and seasoned Project Superintendent to become a valuable member of our team. As part of the Concrete Preservation Alliance, we are committed to the safeguarding of concrete structures using advanced techniques and creative repair solutions. The Project Superintendent will oversee all facets of the field operations for our local project, ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in construction management and supervision, a genuine enthusiasm for concrete preservation, and a strong motivation to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee field operations from conception to completion.
• Coordinate and oversee all field activities, both self performed and subcontracted; including scheduling, budgeting, and staffing.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and manpower.
• Maintain and update project schedules, budgets, QA/QC reports, and other essential documentation.
• Monitor, track, and document construction activities and make necessary changes to ensure project success.
• Lead and support employee development.
• Lead and support Vector's Safety culture and programs, ensuring compliance out in the field.
• Support the field crews with hands on involvement as needed on projects
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• This is a long-term project and the preferred candidate would reside in or near the Salt Lake City, UT area.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or similar field is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Experience with design-build projects would be considered a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong documentation skills with a focus on timeliness
