Full Job Description
Expertise and Functions
- Manage a large geographically dispersed workforce
- Perform program governance
- Execute multiple project integration management
- Manage resources across multiple projects
- Manage stakeholder communication
- Ensure responsiveness and negotiate submitted proposals with the Contracting Officer/Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (CO/COTR)
- Ensure that projects are fully controlled, that goals and objectives are set, program responsibility is assigned, and results are documented
- Maintain a general knowledge of all technical and management areas of the contract
- Interface with Government management personnel, contractor managers, and customer agency representatives
- Formulate and enforce work standards, and assign, schedule and review work
- Disseminate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates
- Support Director, Leadership team and/or Management team as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical, business, or related field required
- PMP Certification, or minimum 2 years managing DoD programs in lieu of PMP Certification, preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of Program Management or associated experience with Government or Industry
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time
