Payroll Director

As the Payroll Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our large workforce. Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire payroll process, including calculating hours, deductions, and overtime, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws
• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements
• Manage payroll records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Coordinate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless data flow and resolve any payroll discrepancies
• Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and communicate relevant updates to management and employees
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax forms, and labor cost summaries
• Maintain relevant payroll systems and software, making updates as necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Payroll Director or in a similar role, with a track record of success
• In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures, laws, and regulations
• Proficiency in payroll software and excellent computer skills
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
