Astor & Sanders, an IT solutions provider located in McLean, VA, is currently seeking exceptional candidates for a Network Engineer experienced to assist our client with providing after-hours Level 3 network support. This position is hybrid onsite in Ogden, UT.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues. Provide Level 3 routing and switching support
• Provide Support for BareMetal setups (network device refreshes)
• Monitor incoming tickets and take the appropriate action, including updates and closures
• Provide “state of the network” status reports throughout the shift
• Troubleshoot VPN access tickets

• Monitor and open tickets for selected network events
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience:

• 3+ years of IT experience in network, infrastructure and communications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering or equivalent
• Providing Level 3 routing and switching support at an enterprise level
• Troubleshooting WAN and LAN network issues with connectivity
• Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently or in a team setting
• Technical certifications including Security + and CCNA a plus
