What the position looks like:
- Working with multiple clients each week across a variety of accounting platforms & tools
- This position is geared towards those looking for part-time work, with a potential to increase hours as client needs grow
- Paid hourly to start with an opportunity to transition to employee in the future
- Part-time, flexible hours based on your capacity & our client needs
- 1099 part-time, contract role
- Hybrid role - Remote with in-person team meetings & events in SLC, UT
Responsibilities:
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning processes
- Create monthly & quarterly board and management visual reporting
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to key stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting reports
- Conduct financial performance analysis and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives
Requirements
- Interest in building up your hours over time, this is not a full-time role to start
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial analysis software
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field
