Flexible Hours. Part Time
Primary Responsibilities:
1-Vehicle Tracking: You are responsible for making sure the vehicle tracking log is being filled out and completed by all Mentors who drive the program vehicles. You will then be responsible for reporting all tracking information and mileage reports pertaining to each program vehicle to the necessary database (Currently Fleetio).
2. Schedule maintenance and repair: You are responsible for scheduling regular maintenance for all vehicles making sure each vehicle is lubed and serviced at the appropriate times. You will keep a copy of all paperwork showing the routine services. You will also be expected to check the oil levels weekly on all program vehicles. You will be expected to schedule any and all repairs needed for program vehicles and ensure that those services and repairs are done by qualified and honest mechanics. You will need to have a good understanding of competitive pricing to ensure the company is not being taken advantage of.
3-Mechanical and Visual Diagnostics: You will need to visually inspect each vehicle weekly and become familiar with each vehicle in order to notice any maintenance or abuse issues paying particular attention to tires, body, and fluids. Your weekly inspections should also include the interior of the vehicles to notice any cleanliness or damage issues.
4. Driver Safety: You will be expected to train Mentors on driver safety issues and take time during each monthly Mentor meeting to talk about and train on driver safety issues. As a part of this responsibility you will need to track the speeding report and then talking to staff about speeding violations You will also be expected to report any and all suspected issues regarding employees who are not driving appropriately in program vehicles to the Residential Director.
5. Auto Insurance Control: You will be responsible for making sure all vehicles registration and insurance are up to date and coordinating with the fleet manager when each vehicle is due to have safety inspections and registration done.
6. Report issues to Residential Director and Fleet Manager: You are responsible for reporting to the Residential Director and Fleet Manager (Suzy LeSueur) any and all issues regarding the program vehicles.
7. Vehicle Fueling Procedures: You are responsible for making sure all program vehicles are fueled up once a week using the appropriate gas card that goes with each vehicle. Fuel expenses will be checked with mileage reports to ensure that they match up.
