The company is headquartered in Exton, PA with large distribution facilities in Atlanta, GA and Salt Lake City, UT.

JW Pepper’s Salt Lake City distribution center is hiring to immediately fill a full-time order processing (picking) and inventory stocking position.  The schedule is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with a ½ hour unpaid lunch break and two paid 15 minute breaks.  All applicants must be willing to participate in seasonal overtime opportunities (January and September) which typically involve either a Saturday half-shift and/or an additional 30 to 60 minutes during weekdays.   Applicants must successfully pass all pre-hire screenings, including a background check and drug test.

Job Description

Order fulfillment/picking using RF scanner gun, staging cart, boxes and divided totes.  Responsible for completeness and accuracy for all orders filled, in a manner that meets company standards for quality and productivity.

Secondary duty will be inventory stocking using RF scanner gun.  Responsible for stock put away, replenishment and other basic inventory functions such as bin content movements and consolidation.

 To provide the highest level of customer service, all warehouse associates will be cross trained to be proficient in other basic warehouse functions depending on departmental needs.  These additional jobs may include QC/packing and inventory receiving.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Able to count accurately and perform simple math required to verify product quantity.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Capable of twisting, stooping, squatting, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level frequently.
• Able to lift 30 lbs regularly as part of handling totes and cartons. 
• Able to push/pull a staging cart and use a foot stool when necessary to reach higher shelves.
• Able to follow directions and adhere to schedules with minimal supervision..
• Able to meet deadlines and productivity targets.
• Able to stay positive and cooperative, with a team player attitude.
• Able to be safety-conscious in your work habits.
