Director of Product Management

GearLaunch is the leading end-to-end (E2E) e-commerce platform that provides everything needed for merchants to sell on-demand products. GearLaunch provides not only the tools to create online storefronts, but also back office support and logistics tasks such as production, shipping and customer service. We are seeking a self-motivated and innovative product manager to join our growing team and help us continue to push the envelope with our products

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product vision and strategy, working directly with the CEO
• Lead teams through the entire product lifecycle — from idea, through development, launch, and optimization
• Act as a player/coach – lead the teams driving the future growth channels of the business while being willing to roll up your sleeves and help push initiatives across the finish line
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. Know how to hustle and get things done. Comfortable juggling multiple projects at various stages of completion, and motivating and driving a project team to success
• Motivated, dynamic, creative, and results-oriented. History of thriving in a fast-paced, agile product development environment, preferably with startup experience
• Define quarterly OKRs to align with the business objectives and own the associated results
• Identify new and innovative products, features, and solutions for our customers
• Work with engineering, design, and marketing teams to plan, build, and launch high quality product experiences
• Define clear, concise, and detailed product requirements for engineering
• Optimize impact of products on both revenue and user experience
• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management
• Some experience with or knowledge of print-on-demand marketplaces
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products  
• Experience leading and mentoring other product managers
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
• Experience working closely with engineering to balance technical, product and business trade-offs
