Digital Press Operator | FT | Swing Shift

Alexander’s | Automated Print + Fulfillment is seeking a smart, positive, friendly, high-energy individual to work as a Digital Press Operator. If you enjoy working with your hands, have an eye for quality, learn quickly, are detail oriented and hard working we would love to talk with you!

The Digital Press Operator's primary daily function is to set up and operate a digital press and digital finishing equipment to produce items consistent with customer specifications. Alexander’s is looking for a motivated individual willing to grow and learn with our company. Positive attitude is a must.

Responsibilities

• Operates digital print machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
• Produces the required quantity of components within established specifications and tolerances.
• Inspects finished components for ensuring compliance with calibrations, quality, and required specifications.
• Consistently inspects equipment to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Manage inventory of all supplies, consumables, and media.

Requirements

• Experience operating a digital press a plus
• Small press operation or previous digital press experience a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues with digital print equipment
• Excellent communication, time management and an eye for quality skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Computer and mathematical skills.
• The ability to stand continuously during shift.
• Detail oriented / Initiative / Organizational skills / Problem solving
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Pay is negotiable depending on previous experience. $19-$24/hr based on experience and certifications.
