Full Job Description
Celtic Bank is looking for a Commercial Loan Post Closer to join the team. The Loan Post Closer is required to convey an image of professionalism, efficiency, and competence as a member of the Celtic Bank team. The Loan Post Closer is expected to deliver exceptional service and maintain all related activities in an organized and consistent manner. The Loan Post Closer will collaborate closely with team members across various departments as needed to ensure assigned deadlines are achieved. The Loan Post Closer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Celtic Bank General Policies as well as state and federal regulations.
Pay: $40,000
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT CELTIC BANK
- Ability to maintain a great attitude and professional disposition with both internal and external parties, especially while handling deadlines, delays, and setbacks.
- Complies with and adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures and best practices.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of all regulations related to post closing procedures.
- Board Closed Loans into iCore system for final processing ensuring all Borrowers, Guarantors, Collateral, and Bank Reporting Fields are set up correctly for monitoring.
- File all required collateral liens, including but not limited to the following: Blanket, Fixture, License, Stock/Membership UCCs and Property Tax Tracking on all CRE and RRE
- Submission of loan to CIP and Final processing
- Submission of Loan and SBA Fees to Management for payment
- Submission of ACH Payments to Accounting to ensure Automatic Loan Payments are set up correctly.
- Regularly provide loan closing status reports to Management.
- Answer to Audited loan packages to ensure compliance with Bank and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to problem solve and work independently.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize and support various activities simultaneously while adhering to required SLO’s.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment, including by demonstrating excellent time management, organization, and planning skills.
- Strong technical skills - including but not limited to Microsoft Office, internet, and SharePoint/OneDrive.
- Adaptability to meet changing department priorities while remaining attentive to daily demands.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes and work in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with bank employees and department members.

Physical and Other Requirements
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Stationary Work: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to type, handle documents, and perform other office related duties. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Mobility: The employee in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Communicate: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and will frequently communicate with others. Must be able to read, write and understand fluent English.
- Work Model: The employee will work either a fully Onsite or Hybrid work model. All employees, regardless of location, may be required to travel to the Salt Lake City office for mandatory company meetings, events, or related occasions.
- Utah-based employees: Hybrid work schedule available after initial training period(4-5 months) in our Salt Lake City, Utah office – department and job requirements will determine eligibility.
