Full Job Description
Spectrum is seeking a Systems Engineer who has responsibility to provide working level systems-engineering services for a USAF client whose efforts are focused on ICBM Integration Support activities. Successful candidates will be a qualifed engineer with Systems Engineering experience, a degree in engineering, and at least six years of experience in the field. Candidates should be able to do the following:
- Able to create unified user experiences throughout a given application
- Experienced with developing and orchestrating usability studies and addressing issues that are discovered
- Provide technical direction for development, engineering, interfacing, integration and testing of complex hardware/software systems, including requirements elicitation and analysis & functional allocation
- Conduct system requirements reviews
- Develop concepts of operation & interface standards
- Develop system architectures
- Perform technical and nontechnical assessment & mgmt
- End-to-end flow analysis
- Generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness
This position is based in on-site and may require some travel.
Requirements
Systems Engineering Experience and/or Certification: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in systems engineering, including hands-on experience and/or relevant certifications. They should possess extensive knowledge and understanding of various systems engineering methodologies, processes, and tools. In addition, they should be able to apply this expertise to analyze, design, integrate, and optimize complex systems in a variety of industries.
Journeyman skill set includes ability to perform all stated/implied duties within this tier and those reasonably derived from preceding tier: The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in all the stated responsibilities and duties associated with a journeyman level position. This includes the ability to effectively execute tasks and projects, solve problems, and make sound decisions independently. Furthermore, the candidate should be capable of extrapolating and adapting their skills and knowledge from previous tiers to handle new challenges efficiently and adapt to changing circumstances.
Professional Engineering License desired: While not required, possessing a professional engineering license would be highly advantageous for this role. The candidate should have either obtained or be actively pursuing the necessary certifications and licensure to practice as a professional engineer. This accreditation would further validate their expertise and enhance their credibility in the field of systems engineering.
