The Career Manager at Saras plays a critical role in supporting our students' transition from education to employment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of career development, and a passion for helping students achieve their professional goals. This role involves providing personalized career guidance, developing career readiness programs, and building relationships with industry partners to enhance job placement opportunities.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with global industry professionals and global employers to create job and internship opportunities for students. Assist students with job search strategies, resume writing, cover letter preparation, and interview skills.
- Design and implement career development workshops and events tailored to the needs of online learners. Topics may include resume building, interview techniques, networking strategies, and professional etiquette.
- Organize career fairs, networking events, and guest speaker sessions to connect students with industry leaders.
- Monitor and report on the career outcomes of students and graduates. Track job placement rates, internships, and other career metrics. Use data to continually improve career services and programs.
- Provide ongoing support to alumni, offering resources for career advancement, professional development, and career changes. Foster a community of lifelong learning among alumni.
- Work closely with Saras faculty, academic advisors, and other departments to integrate career development into the overall student experience. Collaborate on initiatives that enhance students’ career readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Preferably in fields such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in career services, human resources, or a related field, preferably in an educational setting or corporate settings.
- Strong knowledge of career progression and job search strategies, and global employment trends.
- Experience working across various industries to understand diverse organizational needs and employment trends.
- Proven track record in establishing and managing partnerships or collaborations with oversees global organization HR and Recruiting teams
- Background in recruitment or HR roles can be beneficial for understanding hiring processes and employer expectations.
- Experience in organizing career fairs, workshops, and networking events to connect students with potential employers.

Empathy and Student-Centric Approach: Flexibility to adjust strategies based on changing industry dynamics and student needs. Focused on achieving tangible outcomes in terms of successful placements and satisfied partners.
