Job Overview:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving pipeline growth. You will work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify leads, conduct research to understand prospects' needs, and engage them through various channels to initiate the sales process. Your goal will be to schedule sales appointments and demos for the sales team and support the overall business development efforts of the company.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
- Using account based outbound techniques, prospect and identify potential customers through cold calling, email outreach, and other lead generation techniques.
- Qualify leads and conduct research to understand prospects' pain points, challenges, and needs.
- Initiate contact with prospects and engage them in meaningful conversations to assess their fit and interest in our products.
- Collaborate with the sales team to schedule sales appointments and product demos.
- Follow up on leads and maintain a constant flow of communication with prospects.
- Track and manage leads in the CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities.
- Provide feedback and insights to the marketing team on lead generation strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a equivalent field experience.
- Proven experience in business development or lead generation, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products and services.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools. Specifically Apollo, Sales Navigator, Linkedin, and Hubspot.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
