Yard mule operator (Baytown)

All-Tex Staffing & Personnel is currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Yard Mule Operator at our Baytown location. As a Yard Mule Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently maneuvering yard mules to transport trailers and containers within our facility. This is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and transportation processes. If you have experience operating yard mules and possess strong attention to detail, we would love to have you on our team in Baytown.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maneuver yard mules to move trailers and containers within the facility
• Inspect and maintain yard mules to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to prioritize transportation tasks
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Maintain accurate records of yard mule activities
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the yard mule and surrounding areas

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Yard Mule Operator or in a similar role
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong knowledge and experience in operating yard mules
• Good understanding of safety procedures and protocols
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent
