Yard Helper

1 Resource Group is currently seeking a Yard Helper for temp to perm needs near Houston TX area. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to the success of our clients in the construction industry.

Job Description:

Assists with yard tasks that would include scaffold material movement, material accountability and tracking, order fulfilment, forklift operation, bill of lading creation, cycle-counts as well as the ability to erect, Modify, and Dismantle scaffold material on an as needed basis

Basic Job Requirements:

• Looking for personnel with previous experience working in a material yard

• Experience in material yard as part of a crew that supports multiple projects and customers within a geographic region

• Experience with inventory management and order fulfillment

• Secures material in accordance with OSHA standards

• Adheres to client Health, Safety, and Environmental standards

• Forklift experience preferred

• Warehouse experience is a plus

• Experience with inspecting material for hazards

Requirements

Qualifications:

* (1-4) years of experience in piping yard (preferred)

* Complete company orientation

Possess steel toe boots, long pants, and long sleeved shirts for work requirements – other PPE will be provided
