Wood Shop Lead
Onsite - Garland, TX
Pay Range: $24-$28/hr

Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and Manage Equipment: Oversee and operate equipment including table saws, compound miter saws, band saws, sanders, pneumatic nail guns, screw guns, etc.
- Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate the production process, ensuring that all components meet company quality standards and customer specifications. Manage workflow and scheduling to meet production deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that all products adhere to our high-quality standards. Address and resolve any issues related to product quality or equipment performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor production team members. Promote a collaborative and productive work environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in processing techniques and equipment usage to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
- Maintenance and Safety: Ensure regular maintenance of all machinery and equipment to keep them in optimal working condition. Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all team members.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues or equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in wood products/manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with the ability to manage, motivate, and train a team effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other team members
- Ability to self-direct, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Bilingual is a plus (Spanish / English)
