Web & Graphic Designer (Contractor)

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Web & Graphic Designer to join the Dow Janes team on a part-time, contract basis. You will be instrumental in shaping the visual aspects of our website, marketing materials, products and more - helping us to empower more women+ to take control of their financial futures.

What you’ll do:

• Available 20-25 hours a week
• Design visually compelling graphics for a variety of channels, including website, emails, in-product course materials, ads, graphics and social media.
• Execute on web design via front-end web development
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts that support our campaigns and brand strategy.
• Maintain our brand stewardship: understands the vision of the brand and develops creative to support and build it.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of visual branding and design experience working with SaaS companies, digital products, expert-based brands, celebrities, or other companies in the online space.
• Proficient in Adobe suite, Figma, Unbounce, Webflow
• Proficient in HTML, CSS with some experience with Javascript 
• A portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of design fundamentals (type, layout, color, etc.) graphic design, and image editing; video editing a plus
• A keen understanding of all the ways that visual design and branding is used throughout an online business (social, ads, sales pages, etc)
• Strong communicator both in writing and in person
